ASPA is the Alberta Sport Parachuting Association.
Our mission statement is "To promote and facilitate the development of skydiving in Alberta."
ASPA runs and subsidizes CSPA coach and instructor courses in the province for our members to ensure that high standard coaching and instruction are available to our novices and developing athletes throughout the province. We ran 9 ratings courses in the 2010 season, helping 34 candidates achieve new ratings. As well, we now have two new course facilitators. Please check our Courses and Programs section for more information, and watch the dates for ratings courses in 2011.
ASPA hosts discipline specific seminars, makes transition gear, jumpsuits, and helmets available to our developing novices, provides representation to CSPA for our members, supports high performance athletes, sport promotion, public relations programs, and more!
